The diesel powered R10 drove 349 laps around the 3.7-mile World War II airport course in 12 hours, 12 seconds in the American Le Mans Series opener. With gas prices continuing to increase this could be the first step towards selling diesel and eventually renewable Bio-Diesel technology to the American public.
